Антикварный предмет сервировки французского стола — изящная горчичница из массивного серебра с вкладышем из кобальтового стекла.

Предмет создан во Франции в XIX веке для утончённой сервировки обеденных столов. Горчичница выполнена из серебра 950 пробы с клеймом Минерва и украшена ажурным декором из гирлянд и цветочных мотивов в стиле Louis XV revival.

Изящная ручка и мягкая пластика серебра подчёркивают характер французских предметов сервировки эпохи Belle Époque.

Внутри сохранился оригинальный вкладыш из кобальтового стекла — традиционное решение для подачи горчицы и соусов. Насыщенный синий цвет создаёт благородный контраст с серебром и делает предмет особенно выразительным на сервированном столе.

Такие предметы использовались в буржуазных домах Франции как часть полноценной сервировки и дополняли столовые сервизы из фарфора и серебра.

Сегодня это не только функциональный элемент сервировки, но и коллекционный предмет французского серебра, который прекрасно смотрится как в витрине, так и в современной сервировке.

An antique table accessory from the French art of the table — an elegant silver mustard pot with a cobalt glass liner.

Made in France in the 19th century, this refined piece was designed for elegant dining table settings. The mustard pot is crafted in solid 950 silver bearing the Minerva hallmark and decorated with delicate openwork garlands and floral motifs in the Louis XV revival style.

The graceful handle and fluid sculptural lines reflect the character of French tableware from the Belle Époque period.

Inside, the original cobalt glass liner is preserved — a traditional solution for serving mustard and sauces. The deep blue glass creates a beautiful contrast with the silver and makes the piece particularly striking on a set table.

Objects like this were commonly used in bourgeois French households as part of a complete table service alongside porcelain and silverware.

Today it is both a functional serving piece and a collectible example of French silver, equally elegant in a display cabinet or a contemporary table setting.

Objet ancien de l’art de la table français — élégant moutardier en argent massif avec son intérieur en verre cobalt.

Réalisé en France au XIXe siècle, ce raffiné accessoire de table était destiné à la présentation des condiments lors des repas élégants. Le moutardier est en argent massif 950, poinçon Minerve, et décoré d’un délicat décor ajouré de guirlandes et de motifs floraux dans l’esprit Louis XV revival.

La poignée gracieuse et la souplesse des lignes soulignent le caractère des pièces de table françaises de la Belle Époque.

À l’intérieur se trouve son insert d’origine en verre cobalt — une solution traditionnelle pour servir moutarde et sauces. Le bleu profond du verre crée un contraste élégant avec l’argent et apporte beaucoup de caractère à la table.

Ce type d’objet était utilisé dans les maisons bourgeoises françaises comme complément des services de table en porcelaine et en argent.
